Oscar Harris - The remains of Oscar Harris, who died at his home in Houston,
reached Sulphur Springs over the eastbound Cotton Belt and were carried to the
Myra Wilson Chapel where funeral services were held by Rev. H. R. Long of the
Baptist Church. Interment followed in the City cemetery.

Mr. Harris was 55 years old and lived all his life in Sulphur Springs where he
had many old-time friends.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Shed Chapman of Houston and Mrs. T. C.
Brashear of Sulphur Springs. (Daily News- Telegram, feb. 1931)
