JENNINGS, ROSEBUD - Burned to death Sunday morning, and was buried at Martin
Springs. Services conducted by Bro. York. (S.S. Gazette, Fri., Nov. 20, 1908,
Starr Ridge column dated Nov. 19th) Later report - Mrs. Ben Jennings, nee Miss
Rosebud Crowder, was burned to death when her clothing caught fire while she was
standing in front of the fireplace, and before her husband could get her
clothing distinguished, she was burned so badly that she only lived a few hours.
She was only 15 years of age, and had only been married a short time
