McILLWAIN, W.H. - On November 6, 1915, the death angel visited the home of
Mrs. Susie McIllwain and claimed as its victim her loving husband, W.H.
McIllwain. He was born and raised to the age of 32 in Tennessee, coming to
Texas in 1901. He lived near Paris for several years. He moved to Mahoney
eight years ago where he lived until death. Was married to Miss Susie Massey
in 1890; to their union were born four sons, all of whom survive him. His
remains were laid rest in the Mahoney cemetery. (Sulphur Springs Gazette)
