MILLER, J. W., DR. - One of our prominent citizens died at the home of his
daughter, Mrs. H. W. Brinker, in this city at an early hour Sunday morning.
For many weeks he had been in declining health and his death was not
unexpected. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church with interment
in the City cemetery under the auspices of the Free Masons. (S.S. Gazette,
