MOORE, C. M., MRS. - Died Wednesday evening at the home of her son, L. C.
Ponder, in this city after being confined to her bed for more than a year. She
was the mother of nine children, all of whom survive her: J. H, C. H., J. N.,
and L. C. Ponder, F. J. O. Moore and Mesdames M. J. Murphy, M. A. Brewer and
Callie Jennings, of this city and vicinity, and Mrs. Jennie Jennings of
Oklahoma. Funeral services were held at the residence of L. C. Ponder on Locust
street and the interment in the Odd Fellow Cemetery. (S.S. Gazette, Fri., Feb.
