He took sick at his business. He was in his 80th year, born and reared at Arkadelphia, Ark., and had been a citizen of Sulphur Springs for the past 30 years. He was a jeweler by profession. Member of the Presbyterian church. He leaves a wife, six sons and one daughter. Funeral services were conducted at the Presbyterian church by Rev. Drummond; burial in the City cemetery. Children from out of town that attended were: Will Morehead, El Paso; Charley Morehead, Texarkana; Jim Morehead, Arkadelphia, Ark.; Bob Morehead, Corpus Christi; and Miss Daisy Morehead, Shreveport.
