MORTON, KATE, MRS. - Cumby, Hopkins Co., Texas - Nov. 15, 1930 - Mrs. Kate
Morton died at the residence of her sister, Mrs. W. L. McGuire, here. Mrs.
Morton is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ruth White of Dallas, and Mrs. C. E.
McGurie of Idabel, Okla., and three sons, H. M. Morton and J. B. Morton of
Dallas, and G. R. Morton of Carrizo Springs, and two sisters, Mrs. McGuire and
Mrs Emma Byrd of Eldridge, Mo. Funeral services were conducted at the
Methodist Church of Cumby. Burial in Cumby cemetery. (Dallas Morning News,
Nov. 16, 1930)
