All rights reserved http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ***************************************************** From the files of June Tuck NEYLAND, R.W., MR. - On June 4, 1915, the death angel called at the Neyland home and claimed for its victim the mother of that home. Six months and six days later he again called and took the father, Mr. R.W. Neyland, who departed this life Dec. 10, 1915. He suffered about one week with pneumonia. Mr. Neyland was visiting his sister, Mrs. Lashingame, at Strawn, Texas, at the time of his death. He was brought back to Como and his remains were laid to rest in the Black Oak Cemetery, with services being conducted by Rev. R. J. Blackman. He leaves eight children and three sisters to weep. Five of these children are married, leaving the three youngest girls at home. He was a member of the Black Oak Church.
