PALMER, M. C. - Died at his home on Main street Saturday night following an
operation. Born in Alabama 67 years ago. Moved to Texas and located in Hopkins
County about twenty years ago. Buried in the City Cemetery. Sons: B. A. Palmer
of Sulphur Springs, Ernest Palmer of Jefferson, and his brothers, T. A. Palmer
of this city, and J. F. Palmer of Clinton, Alabama. (Sulphur Springs Gazette,
