PARKS, J. G., MR. - Died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. H. Dickerson.
Some two months ago he suffered a stroke. He was in his 81st year. He is
survived by his daughters, Mrs. Willie Johnson of Texarkana; Mrs. Montgomery
of Point; Mrs. C. C. Adams and Daisy DuBois of Leon county; Mrs. W. H.
Dickerson of this city; and his son, J. L. Parks of Hunt County. Mr. Parks was
laid to rest in the old family burial grounds a few miles from Miller Grove.
