H., MRS. - Died in this city Tuesday, aged 74, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Theo Wiegers, and was buried beside her husband, Gen. James H. Rogers, formerly of Jefferson, at the City Cemetery. Mrs. Rogers came to Texas when a small child with her father, Judge Wm. B. Ochiltree, who was Secretary of Treasury under Anson Jones and a member of the Confederate Congress. She was also the sister of the late Congressman Tom Ochiltree. Mrs. Rogers was a devoted Roman Catholic. (Sulphur Springs Gazette, June 11, 1909)
