M. - Cumby, Hopkins Co., Texas - Oct. 6, 1925 - J. D. M. Russell, 77 years old, long time citizen of this county, died at his residence, seven miles south of Cumby. Mr. Russell moved to Texas more than 40 years ago and lived in this county 25 years. Funeral services were held at Miller Grove. ( Dallas Morning News, Oct. 7, 1925)
