E. - Ennis Ury of Checotah, Okla., and Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Allen of Muskogee, Okla., was here to attend the funeral of their brother-in-law, R. E. Sadler, who died Tuesday morning. (S.S. Gazette, Fri., Nov. 19, 1915) Later report - Amos Ury, of Checotah, Okla., was unable to attend the funeral of his son-in-law, R. E. Sadler, because of poor health. Later report - R. E. Sadler died in San Angelo and was buried in the Sulphur Springs City cemetery. Funeral was conducted from the home of S. C. Ury on Davis street. He was 30 years old. He married Miss Medora Ury (who formerly resided here, and is a sister of our townsman, S. C. Ury) at Muskogee, Okla., about two and a half years ago. He was a traveling salesman with headquarters in Chicago, but came south when stricken with disease, stopping at San Angelo where his death occurred.
