SEYMORE, JOE, MR. - Of Yantis, died Wednesday. ÊBurial was made in the cemetery
here, I.O.O.F. officiating. He left four girls. (S.S. Gazette, Mar. 9, 1906,
Center Point column dated Mar.5th) Later report from Yantis column dated Apr. 9,
1906 - Three little children of J. H. Seymore, deceased, will leave tomorrow for
Corsicana to enter the widows and orphans home. (1900 census shows Joseph H.
Seymore age 31, his wife, Edna age 31 and four daughters, Lilly F., 11yrs;
Maggie M., 9 yrs.;Jewel W., 3 yrs.; Dewey M. 2 yrs.Ê - ÊJ. T.)
