W. H. Slayton dropped dead in Fort Worth Tuesday of last week. His remains
were shipped to Como, with burial at Forest Academy cemetery. Mr. Slayton
lived near Como for many years. He had been making his home at Portales, N.
M., for two years and had been in bad health fro some time and was on his way
home from Hot Springs when death overtook him suddenly. He as the father of
Walter Slayton who lives near Como. ( Sulphur Springs Gazette, Fri., May 9,
