SMITH, JAMES S. - Died at his home in Cumby February 18, 1908, and was buried by
the Masonic fraternity. He had been section foreman here for twenty years. He
had been in failing health for a year or more with some affliction of the head
that baffled medical skill. He leaves a wife and six children. Service over the
remains were held at the Baptist church. (Cumby Rustler)
