SMITH, ANNIE, MRS. - Who left here about a month ago for a visit to relatives in
Indian Territory and who had returned to Commerce for a few days stay with her
son, Walter Smith, of that place, was suddenly called home last Wednesday. ĘShe
leaves two sons and two daughters. Doctor said an abscess which had formed on
the heart had burst, causing her death. (S.S. Gazette, Ap. 27, 1906, Pine Forest
column dated Ap. 23rd) Penn column reported - Her remains were brought here for
interment.
