SNEED, ALMUS - Unmarried man about 30 years of age, committed suicide at Petty
on Sunday morning, taking carbolic acid. Some two years ago he lost a hand while
working in the oil mill at Vernon and in a damage suit he recovered a verdict
for $1200, now pending in the Court of Civil Appeals. (S.S. Gazette, Fri., Apr.
