STRIBLING, S. A., MRS. - Died Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
Claud Frost, on Davis street, after a brief illness. She was born in Hale
county, Alabama, in 1844, and moved to Texas in the early seventies. She was
married to Joseph Stribling at Reily Springs in 1875. Funeral services were held
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frost, conducted by Rev. James Drummond. Burial in
the City cemetery. (S.S. Gazette, Fri., May 21, 1915)
