He failed to come to dinner the proper time and his little daughter was sent to see about him. She found him lying dead on his face in the furrow behind the cultivator. Burial took place at Miller Grove. He was living on the Junell farm four miles southeast of Cumby. He leaves a wife and two little girls. His wife was Miss Delaney Taylor, daughter of John Taylor who was cotton weigher here some year ago. Bud was a brother to Jim Taylor of Cumby. (Sulphur Springs Gazette, May 3, 1912)
