VADEN, J. L. (LODERICK) - One of the pioneers of the Chapman Arm community, died
at his home near Addran Wednesday, at 12:30 p.m. His remains were laid to rest
in the Aiguier cemetery. He leaves a wife and children. Mr. Vaden had lived for
many years in the northern portion of the county. (S.S. Gazette, Fri., Dec. 11,
1908)
