WARD, TOM - Of Sulphur Bluff, died in this City on last Thursday night at the
home of W. T. Cannady. Ward was subject to fits, had three fits that night
before the family retired and was found dead in bed the next morning, doubtless
dying in a fit. (S.S. Gazette, Fri., Feb. 21, 1908)
