Another message later states the body had been found. The message did not state whether the young man was in swimming or on some form of construction work. He was reared at Forest Academy, this county (Hopkins), and was the son of Clint Wells. His father and mother have been dead several years. George was a bright boy and studied civil engineering. Some six years ago, and after completing his course, he took up the practical work and has been away from here since that time. His brother, John Wells, left today (Thursday) for New York and as soon as he gets there funeral arrangements will be announced. The relatives here feel sure he will be brought back to Forest Academy for interment. He was about 29 years of age and single. He has a large number of relatives here.
