Tuck W. C. "Dock" Wilson, born at Westford, Marshall Co., Missipippi, April 18, 1844, died at his home in Sulphur Springs, March 17, 1929. He was in unusual good health, except for having felt a little bad during the day. He had gone out in the yard and, stooping over to pick up a stick of wood, fell over and died almost instantly. When the call to arms came he joined Co. D, 34 Mississippi Infantry and served with honor through the Great War. He moved to Hopkins County about sixty years ago where he has since lived and made a good and honorable citizen. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary T. Wilson, one son, Willie H. Wilson of Seminole, Oklahoma; and four daughters, viz., Mrs. Levi Thomas, Sulphur Springs; Mrs. R.S. Cade, Clovis, New Mexico; Mrs. Willie Glenn and Mrs. Jack Williams, Arizona. Funeral services were held in the Myra Wilson Chapel with burial in the City Cemetery. (Resolutions were also given by the Matt Ashcroft Camp U.C.V., which was a repeat of the obituary)
