R. F. B. Wood - This obit was first published in "Jefferson Jimplecute" paper,
reprinted in the "Sulphur Springs Gazette, Fri., Dec. 3, 1909.

- R. F. B. Wood died at his residence Monday, Nov. 1, 1909, after an illness of
a few days of pneumonia. The funeral was conducted by Jefferson Lodge No. 30 A.
F. & A. M.

Mr. Woods was born at Cape Girardeau Co., Mo., Nov. 24, 1837; came to Texas in
1872. He was 72 years old. He was married to Julie Sheppard, Aug. 18, 1869.

He leaves one daughter, Ada, of this city, one brother, Joe Woods, of Cumby,
(Texas,) and a sister, Mrs. Maggie Duncan. He had lived here six years.

The deceased was laid to rest in the Oakwood cemetery and buried by the Masons.
He formerly lived in Cumby, (Hopkins County, Texas.)
