YOUNG, MARY ELLENE - Also known as Polly, died July 25, 1915, at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. George Bartlett, and was buried at Oakland cemetery. She
leaves seven children: Mrs. Ella Rash, Sulphur Springs, Texas; Mrs. Jane
Alexander, Cumby; Mrs. Ludy Herman, South Dakota; Mrs. Kate Bartlett,
Ridgeway; William, Joseph and James Young, all of Ridgeway, Texas. She was
nearly 72 years old, and death ascribed to heart failure. She was the daughter
of Captain Branom and was born raised in this county. (S.S. Gazette)
