TUCK Sunday night at the residence of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Anna Stewart, near Brashear, Mr. Dan Holder and Miss Inez Stewart were united in marriage by Rev. Marcellus Watkins in the presence of a number of relatives and invited guests. Both the bride and groom are two of the best known and most popular young people in the Brashear country, being members of two of the oldest and most prominent families of the county. They each number their friends by their large acquaintance and are being warmly congratulated on this eventful occasion. ( Hopkins County Echo, Fri., July 30, 1920) Sunday night at the home of the bride’s sister, Mrs. Edgar Turpin, in Arlington, Mr. Bennie Camp and Miss Clarinne Knight, two of the best known and most popular young people of Sulphur Springs, were united in marriage. The Echo joins a host of friends in wishing for each a long and happy life as they journey life’s path-way together. Tucker united in marriage Mr. Erbie Aaron of Mineola and Miss Jessie Latham in the presence of a few invited guest as opnly a few knew the intentions of the two. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Latham of this City and has a host of friends among all who know her. The groom lives in Mineola and bears a good reputation. They left for Mineola where they will make their future home accompanied by the best wishes of many friends and relatives here. ( Hopkins County Echo, Fri., Aug. 13, 1920) Monday night Judge T. J. Tucker united in marriage Mr. J. Courson and Miss Mamie Warren, two well known and popular young people of Como. Beasley united in marriage Mr. Shed Sickles and Mrs Mattie Bolin in the presence of a few invited friends. (Hopkins County Echo, Fri. Aug. 20, 1920) At the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. & Mrs. R. H. Hilton, at Mahoney, last Sunday, Mr. West Stroud and Miss Sudie Hilton were united in marriage by Rev. Dan Harper in the presence of a number of invited friends and relatives of the two families.
