Houston Co., TX - List Of All Houston County Burial Sites ********************************************************* This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb by: Letty Harrington USGenWeb Archives. Copyright. All rights reserved http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ********************************************************* COMPLETE LIST OF ALL HOUSTON COUNTY BURIAL SITES (DISCLAIMER: That I could find information on) Since our current lists consist of surveyed cemeteries, I receive numerous requests about unlisted cemeteries. Here I have put together a list of all known burial sites. My resources were a Houston County map distributed by the Chamber of Commerce which has every single obscure road imaginable and marks burial sites, along with the Houston County Cemetery book published by the Houston County Historical Commission. Both of these are must have resources if you are doing research in the Houston County area. I have visited many of these and those you may find more detailed directions given. I have linked any cemeteries which have online surveys. These can also be found on the other Houston County cemetery pages listed on the main page, but are repeated here as a convenience. I encourage anyone doing research to purchase the cemetery book as it is the most complete (over 1000 pages) resource, but for those unable to I would be happy to do look ups.
