There was this piece below the names. "The people listed above made purchases at our store during the month of January, thereby making it possible for the $71.55 to be credited to the Methodist Church Building Fund. The day selected by little Miss Catherine Floyd was January 4th and the Cash Retail amounted to $71.55. This amount was made directly possible by the following list of person who made purchases on that day--whose dollars did double duty, in that they purchased merchandise they were in need of and the total amount of the sale was added to the Church Fund. They were as follows: George Duffy, G. E. Duncan, Ellis Glasscock, Omer Lyday, Byrd Glasscoe, John Dubose, W. R. Richards, Lee Milton, James Fields, John Cawthon, and M. M. Pruitt. (February 1, 1952)
