The institution was established in 1895, and has graduated thousands of students throughout the world during more than thirty- five years of educational service. Farewell scenes were common on the campus this afternoon, while students with packed grips and trunks began their trek to other institutions of learning. Many ministerial students departed for Decatur and Howard Payne, while many of the Greenville students plan to attend Wesley College here, while others left for East Texas State Normal, the Marshall Junior College, and others to Baylor. For the faculty, it will be a difficult matter for them to obtain employment at any other school until next term, as all colleges have filled their needs for the present term. F. A. R. Morgan, instructor in science, will depart for Brazil, where he will take up the work of a missionary. Dean C. H. Wedemeyer will remain with the college for the present, in the transcription department. Dean Wedemeyer is one of the oldest teachers with the college, having spent more than fifteen years as dean and in the mathematics department. The teacher with the longest service record is Mrs. Guy Moore, who has been an instructor in the English department for more than twenty years.
