Orchestra Now Playing For Chapel
    The Burleson Orchestra has completed its organization and has started real
work.  They are playing each morning in chapel and by their presence the
chapel exercises have taken on a renewed interest.  They are planning to do
other things for the school and it is hoped that they give us a full program
soon.
    Miss Altha Arnold, instructor in the Fine Arts Department, is director of
the Orchestra, with the following members:  Clarinet: Thornton Miller, Baker
Ekrut, and Miss Merna Bible; Piano: Miss Jessamine Thornton; Saxophone: Reeves
Hartman and CASEY PATTERSON; Trumpet: Leo Norton and Norman Wright; Violin;
Miss Geraldine Buckner, Randolph Wortham, and Miss Arnold; Drums: Ralph Quinn.

CASEY PATTERSON was a Celeste High School graduate who went on to become a
medical doctor, practicing in Dallas.
