Dinner Given in Honor of Fred Duff
    Following the Tuesday's game, the Burleson yell leaders were guests at
dinner, given at the home of Miss Madlon Strickland, honoring Mr. Fred Duff's
birthday.
    The table was beautifully decorated in red, white, and blue.  The menu
consisted of Orange cocktail, baked chicken, French dressing, cream peas,
marshmallow toast on potatoes, iced tea, fruit salad, pie with cream whip.
    Covers were laid for cheerleaders, Fred Duff, Dan Turney, Miss Opal
Faulkner, and Miss Mabel Steen, and Mr. Zelma James, and the hostess.
    After the dinner, the guests went to the home of Mr. and Mrs. O. H.
Johnson where Miss Steen entertained the SSS Club with a "12 O'clock Party."
