The final score was 16-5. The Wolfe City Wolves were victorious over the Blue Devils by a score of 23-15. The next district game will be played with Quinlan on Friday night in the Celeste gym. Review-- Miss Allegra Byers reviewed "Evangeline" for the speech department on Wednesday morning. Everyone enjoyed the review very much. March of Dimes-- Grammar school entertained high school in the gym on Tuesday morning. Pupils in grammar school boxed in the gym. The proceeds went to the March of Dimes. PTA-- The Celeste PTA will meet next Tuesday, February 4th. A Founders' Day program will be given. All parents are urged to attend this meeting. Get Well, Tom-- Tom Giles has been sick for the last few days. We all miss you, Tom, and hope to see you back at school real soon. Everyone is swooning over Densil. What about that Jacqueline? Joe Dan--Fredna certainly is cute. Patsy and Jack seemed very excited over the boxing matches. Red Lanier has been seen on the campus. Welcome back, Red. Say, Enna Jean, did your brother box Green? Spotlight-- The spotlight this week is focused on a freshman boy. He is James Land. James has blonde hair and hazel eyes. His favorite color is green, favorite sport is football, favorite song is "Ole Buttermilk Sky." James is very friendly and is liked very much by everyone. The Blue Devils were defeated by the Quinlan boys by a score of 22-16. PTA-- The PTA met on Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 PM. Mrs. McNatt, the vice president, presided. Virgean Myers gave an article on Founders' Day," and Mrs. Ernest Roach gave a reading on "Citizenship." Refreshments were served and the meeting adjourned at 4:00 PM. Spotlight-- The spotlight this week turns to a senior girl. She is Wanda Compton. Wanda is artist on the annual staff. She has blue eyes and blonde hair. Her hobby is collecting dogs. Her favorite color is blue, favorite sport is football, and favorite song is "Till the End of Time." Wanda has a very sweet disposition and is liked by everyone. Gossip-- Who is the new boyfriend from Greenville, Rita? Wonder what Patsy Lyday was worrying about? Could it have been boys? Doris and Eugene seem to be doing all the good. Wonder what Claude, Jr., was blushing about in homeroom period? Have you heard that Kilroy saw Don and Left?
