It prompted another article by the same title (also undated) from Mrs. Lena Harrison Rowell. It reads as follows: "(Mrs. Dee Rowell of Route 3, Greenville found the following column from a Celeste Courier of September 1920). ' Since it is September and teachers are going out from Celeste, like it was fifty-eight years ago, this may be of interest,' Mrs. Rowell commented. Mrs. Rowell was the Miss Lena Harrison who lived in the large house (razed in the 50's) corner of 4TH and Cockrell streets. Her youngest brother, I. E. Harrison, ran the printing presses for the paper. Mrs. Rowell doesn't remember the editor of that date. The column read Where They Teach. Our little city is become quite a center for teacher training, and we note the following home people who will be in the teaching work this fall: Miss Onilla Ewing, expression, at Kiowa, Oklahoma. Miss Myrtle Stevens, at Mount Carmel. Miss Inez Bickham, expression, at Van Alstyne. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Jones, Crescent. Miss Clara Mdelin, expression, at Center. Miss Geraldine Kerr, White Rock. Miss Lena Harrison, Pilot Grove. Miss Bertie Barnett, Kingson. Miss Leta Masters, at Greenville. Miss Faye Harris, music, at Electra. Miss Maxine Harris, music, at Josephine, Texas. Home teachers in that year of 1920, according to the yellowed clipping were E. H. Watson, Mrs. Hesa Bickham, Mrs. J. Frank Hudson, Mrs. N. S. Jefferson, Miss Tila Mae Armstrong, Mrs. C. E.
