McDonald Reunion Notes:
     Mr. Walton Murphree of Alvarado was the first president
of the McDonald Reunion.  He served for two years.  After his
death in May, 1941, his oldest son, Otis Murphree, served as
president.  The next presidents were Dr. J. Frank McDonald of
Hillsboro, Mr. Almus L. McDonald of Rising Star, and Mr. John
Michael of Dallas.  Two secretaries serving a long tenure were
Mrs. Ida Sparks of Celeste and Willie Ray McDonald of San Antonio
and Rising Star.  Lucille Key McDonald of Dallas was also secretary
for many years and spent countless hours researching genealogy
records across the country.  Some of the information gathered here is
the result of her efforts.
     A typed list of descendants of Phoebe Ray and Allen (Allan)
McDonald who had attended the reunion in 1942 included:  Mrs. B.
