Ken is his son. He needs to be added as a survivor and he lives in Soper, Oklahoma. Thank you, Sarah William was in our class (Class of '61) and served during in the US Army during the Viet Nam War. William George told us in December of 2004 that he never had to leave the states. He was in basic with Bud (Roach) and his buddies. Remember seeing William George when they were doing their dress parade (or whatever). Jerry and I drove in the rain from Celeste to Fort Polk--and back then some of the road were gravel pig trails in Louisiana. We followed the lights of an eighteen wheeler and was thankful for those two little red dots. I don't know how we got all their duffel bags (?--the big ones--what are they called) in the trunk and all the rain-soaked boys in the car to head home, but we did. We were not uncomfortable at all. Bud, who all rode back with us? Didn't a boy from Caddo Mills also come back with us?
