Deweese of the County of Hunt and State of Texas for and in^(sic,inserted word unreadable) consideration to me in hand paid by George W. Thomason and wife Elizabeth A. Thomason of the afore-said County and State The receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained and sold and by these presents bargain and sell and convey unto the said George W. Thomason and wife the following described lots or parcels of Land situated in Hunt COunty Texas on the waters of Sabine about 18 miles South from Greenville and bounded as follows A 24 1/2 acre survey beginning at an inside corner of a 160 acre survey deeded by J. J. Hail to Thos. Deweese off of a League survey, Rt.(sic), to the heirs of James McAdams from which this is a part. Thence West 45 varas at a stake in the Greenville and Kaufman Road Thence North 28° 30' E 328 vrs. to a stake. Thence South 365 vrs. to the place of beginnining containing 24 1/2 acres of land. Another tract the same being a hundred acres out of the John Mongomery H.D.R. No. 565 3 vass.(sic) issued by J. M. Crockett of Mercers Colony and deeded by John Montgomery to Thos. Deweese Dec. and other tract off of the James McAdams League survey and deeded by J. J. Hail to Thomas Deweese and beginning at the South East corner of said survey at a stake in prarie draw which an ash on the South bank of branch marked P(sic,could be a D)bears North 35° W 49 Thence North crossing branch several times 866 1/2 vrs. to a stake in prarie. Thence West 866 8/10 vrs. to a stake. Thence South 446 8/10 varas to a stake. Thence East 44 vrs. to a stake in prarie. Thence South 446 8/10 varas to stake on South boundary line. Thence East 419 varas to the place of beginning. Containing about one hundred acres moore(sic) or less To have and to hold the above mentioned premises unto them, The said George W. Thomason and wife theirs heirs ands assigns forever. Wgither(sic) with all and singular the rights hereditauiuits(sic) belonging or in otherwise appertaining to or in anywise belonging to the said Thomas Deweese and I hereby warrant and forever defend the title against myself my heirs or legal representatives to the said George W. Thomason and wife their heirs or assigns forever and against the cause of any persons lawfully claiming the same or any part of.
