Thomason heirs at law of Thomas Deweese dec'd for and in consideration of 224 1/2 acres of land delivered to us by Thomas Deweese as our share of land in the said Deweese estate have decreed and by these presents do relinquish all our right and title to the following tract or parcel of land (to wit) lying in Hunt County, Texas on the waters of the Sabine river about 16 miles South from Greenville and a part of the James McAdams R D survey and beginning at the North West corner of a tract of land deeded to U. Deweese by James L Morgan thence South with said Deweese line to his South West Corner on Ellison North Boundary line. Thence West with the said Ellison line to the said North West corner on the East boundary line of W. B. Adams land. Thence North To The South West corner of a 80 acre of-tract of land owned by T. J. Humphreys Thence East with said Humphreys line to the place of beginning. Containing 40 acres of land and also a tract of land on same survey Beginning at W.B. Adams North East corner thence West with the said Adams line to Sam Tolbert East boundary line Thence North with Tolbert line to L. O. Teague South West Corner. Thence East with Teague line to corner Thence on with T. J. Humphreys South line To corner. Thence South to place of beginning Containing 20 acres to have and to hold the said land and all the apertuances to the same To the said Thos Deweese his heirs and assigns forever and we further warrant and defered the title against us our heirs and legal representatives. Thomason known to me to be the person whose names are suscribed to the forgoing instrument and acknowledged to me that they executed the same for the purposes and consideration Therein expressed and the said Elizabeth A. Thomason wife of the said George W. Thomason having been examined by me privately and apart from her husband and having the same fully explained to her she the said Elizabeth A Thomason acknowledged such instrument To be her act and deed And she declared That she willingly signed the same for the purpose and consideration Therein expressed and that she did not wish to retract it.
