The State of Texas

County of Hunt

     Know all men by these presents - That in consideration of the payment
in full according to the face and Tenor thereof, of one certain promissory
note described in a certain Warranty Deed executed by John R. Thomason and
wife Tilda Thomason to F. R. Blount dated the 19 day of March 1886 and
recorded in Vol - and Pages - of the Records of Deeds of Hunt County Texas
I John R. Thomason the owner and holder of said note do hereby release the
Vendors lien shown by said deed to exist upon the following described land
to secure the payment of said note viz 50 acres of land in Hunt Co. Texas
Patented to Goodman Deweese

Witness my hand this 21st day of Dec 1889.

     Before me C. J. Steger a Notary Public in and for The County of Hunt
state of Texas on this day personally appeared J. R. Thomason known to me to
be the person whose name is subscribed To the foregoing instrument and
acknowledged to me that he executed the same for the purposes and consideration
therein expressed.

    Given under my hand and seal of office this 21st day of December 1890(sic).
