F. SHIELDS of the County and State aforesaid one for the sum of seventy two 50/100 on January the 1st 1876 and the other for the sum of one hundred and twenty seven 50/100 Dollars due January the 1st, 1877 both bearing the date of this deed the Receipt whereof is acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do bargain sell and convey to the said J. F. Shields, his heirs and assigns a certain tract of parcel of Land situated in Hunt County on the waters of Cow leach Fork of Sabine about six miles North & 40 E from Greenville being apart of the Headright of Esram TIDWELL it being part of a 240 acres tract deeded by Mary KIZER to H. GARRISON. Beginning at the N. W. Corner of a 70 acre tract deed to me by J. W. SPOONEMORE a stake thence E 652 vrs. to the N.E. corner of the same a stake thence N. 662 vrs. to the S. E. corner of a 50 acre tract deeded by __blank__ to a stake thence W. 746 vrs to the S.W. corner of same then S. 557 vrs. a stake thence E. 94 Vrs. a stake thence S. 125 vrs. to the place of beginning containing 85 Acre together with all and singular the rights numbers and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise incident or appertaining to hereby warranting and forever defending the title of the above mentioned premises against all persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof unto him the said J. SHIELDS of the County of Hunt and State of Texas for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred & twenty five dollars ($225.00) in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have granted, bargained, sold and released and by these presents do grant bargain sell or release unto the said J. M. MOORE all that tract of land as follows to wit: lying and being in Hunt County about 7 miles N.E. from the town of Greenville a part of the Esram TIDWELL Head right survey Beginning at the N. corner of a 70 acres Survey deed by Mrs. E. GARRISON to J. W. SPOONEMORE at stake Thence E. 322 varas a stake Thence N. 662 varas a stake Thence West 405 varas a stake Thence South 537 varas a stake Thence East 94 varas a stake Thence S. 125 varas to the place of beginning containing 45 acres of land together with all and singular the rights members hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise incident or appertaining To have and To hold all and singular the same premises unto the said J. M. MOORE his heirs and assigns forever. And I do hereby bind my heirs executors and administrators to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.
