E. HUDSON and wife K. E. HUDSON of the County of Hunt and State aforesaid, in consideration of the sum of Thirteen Hundred ($1300.00) dollars to us in hand paid and to be paid by Mrs. A. A. SHIELDS - as following One hundred ($100.00) dollars cash in hand, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and one promissory Vendor's lien note of even date of this deed for the sum of Five hundred forth ($540.00) dollars due the 15th day of October 1911, with ten per cent per annum from maturity until paid, and the assumption of one Vendors lien note with interest for the sum of Six Hundred Sixty ($660.00) dollars now owned by R. E. CONNER of Campbell, Texas and described in deed from M. A. HUDSON, and wife, M. E. HUDSON, and R. I. GREEN and her husband, Willie to S.E. Hudson for all of which the vendors lien is hereby retained on the hereinafter described lands. Have Granted, Sold and Conveyed, and by these presents do Grant, Sell, Convey unto the said Mrs. A. A. SHIELDS of the County of Hunt and State of Texas all that certain tracts or parcels of land in Hunt County, Texas, about ten (10) miles East from Greenville and more particularly described as follows: First tract being part of the GREEN W. KEITH Survey, beginning at the South West corner of the original Survey. Thence North 356 varas, Thence East 950 varas. Thence South 356 varas. Thence West 950 varas to the place of beginning. Containing sixty (60) acres of land. Second Tract: A part of the RICHARD BROWN Survey, beginning at the North East corner of the tract deed to George HEAD; Thence East 300 varas; Thence south 94 1/2 varas. A stake, Thence West 300 varas, a stake, Thence West 300 varas, a stake in the East boundary line of the said HEAD tract; thence North 94 1/2 varas to the place of Beginning, containing five (five) acres of land, both tracts containing Sixty five (65) acres of land. To have and to hold the above described premises, together with all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto anywise belonging unto the said Mrs. A. A. SHIELDS and to her heirs and assigns forever. And we do hereby bind ourselves and our heirs, executors and administrators to Warrant and Forever Defend all and singular the said premises unto the said Mrs. A. A. SHIELDS and her heirs and assigns, against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof. MANNING, a Notary Public in and for Hunt County, Texas, on this day personally appeared S. E. HUDSON and K. E. HUDSON, wife of S. E. HUDSON known to me to be the person whose names are subscribed to the foregoing instrument, and acknowledged to me that they executed the same for the purposes and consideration therein expressed. And the said K.E. HUDSON, wife of S. E. HUDSON having been examined by me privily and apart from her husband, and having the same by me fully explained to her, she the said K. E. HUDSON, acknowledged such instrument to me to be her act and deed and declared that she had willingly signed the same for the purposes and consideration therein expressed and that she did not wish to retract it.
