W. Thomason and Lizzie Ann Thomason Husband & wife of the County of Hunt and the State aforesaid, for and in consideration of the sum of One DOLLARS to ---- in hand paid by J. R. Thomason The receipt of which is whereby acknowledged have GRANTED, SOLD AND CONVEYED, and by these presents do GRANT, SELL AND CONVEY unto the said J. R. Thomason of the County of Hunt and State of Texas all the certain tract or parcel of land. My entire interest and claim in a certain tract of land containing 80 acres more or less, And described as follows; A part of the H Taylor H.R. survey situated in the County of Hunt State of Texas 12 miles south from Greenville Texas on the waters of Dry Creek Begining at the N.W. Corner of the H. Taylor survey A Black Jack. Thence South to Dry Creek. Thence East down the meanderings of Dry Creek to the Greenville and Terrell road Crossing on said Dry Creek a Bois D arc stake Thence North 997 2/10 vrs. a willored(sic) Oak tree marked Thence West to the place of begining. Containing 80 acres more or less of land. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises with all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in any wise belonging, unto the said J. R. Thomason his heirs and assigns, forever. And We do hereby bind ourselves and heirs, executors, and administrators, to WARRANT AND FOREVER DEFEND, all and singular the said premises unto the said J. R. Thomason his heirs and assigns, against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming the same or any part thereof. WITNESS our hands at Payne Store, Tex, this 13th day of Febry A.D. 1890. County of Hunt } BEFORE ME, C. J. Steger a Notary Public in and for Hunt County, Texas, on this day personally appeared George W. Thomason and Lizzie A. Thomason wife of George W. Thomason. Known to me to be the persons whose names are subscribed to the foregoing instrument, and acknowledged to me that they executed the same for the purposes and consideration herein expressed. And the said Lizzie Ann Thomason having, been examined by me privily and apart from her husband, and having the same by me fully explained to her, she, the said Lizzie Ann Thomason, acknowledged such instrument to me to be her act and deed, and she declared she had willingly signed the same for the purposes and consideration therein expressed, and that she did not wish to retract it.
