Army M/Sgt. Vincent Ramirez, 26, son of Mrs. Benita Ramirez, Celeste, recently
participated in a parade at Fort Riley, Kansas, to celebrate the 1st Infantry
Division’s 40th anniversary.

Sergeant Ramirez, who entered the US Army in 1959, is regularly assigned as a
platoon sergeant in Company C of the 1st Division’s 16 Regiment at the fort.
His wife, Michela, is now living in Junction City, Kansas.

The sergeant’s decorations include the Silver Star and the Combat Infantryman
