The Courier was a WWII casualty and it came back to Celeste after an absence of more than three years. The Courier replaced The Celeste Record (only two weeks). Bill Perkins and J. Garland Smith were owners of The Record, (previously The Courier). Paul M. Fulks, Wolfe City Sun's circulation soared past one-hundred fifty. I don't know what connection that has exactly.
