    Army Private First Class James M. Hackney, Jr., 22, whose parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Monroe Hackney, and wife, Barbara, live on RR 3, Celeste, was assigned on
April 12, to Company C, 1st Battalion, 27 Infantry, 25th Infantry Division, US
Army, Viet Nam.
    Pvt. Hackney entered the Army in October of 1966 and was last stationed at
Fort Polk, Louisiana.
    Hackney is a 1962 graduate of Celeste High School and was employed by the
Sears Roebuck and Company, Dallas, before entering the Army.  (April 28, 1967,
