Ruby Lee Jenkins Worthy Matron of Leonard OESC
    The Order of the Eastern Star Chapter for Leonard will be instituted in the
Leonard High School gym on July 27, 1967, at 8:00 PM under the direction of
Worthy Grand Patron Herschel Harrington of Houston, assisted by Worthy Grand
Matron, Mildred Sharpe of Dallas, and other Grand officers of Texas.
    Besides the Worthy Matron, Ruby Lee Jenkins from Leonard, the Celeste
officers elected were:  Conductress Winnie Evans, Marshal Zelleva Abernathy,
and Electra Lou Evans.  Lou Evans was also serving on the refreshment committee
