Celeste Halloween Carnival Queen and Party. . .
    A large crowd attended the annual Halloween Carnival at Celeste Monday
night and the interesting affair was climaxed by the crowning of a Carnival
Queen, Miss Georgann Hackney.  The queen is selected by votes each year.  The
queen's part was made up of princes and princesses as follows:  Georgia Steed,
Mark Hackney, Linda Burnett, Jackie Jackson, David Barnett, Pamela Duncan, Dale
Barnett, Caroline Compton, Teddy Hunter, Lady-in-Waiting Linda Weatherley,
Harry Childress, Jeannette Swafford, and Mike Weatherley,  Also Lady-in-Waiting
Lucy Shanks, Jimmy Hackney, Sarah Roach, Jackie Arnwine, Barbara Newman, and
Charles Macon.  Also, Archie Lowe, Frances Taylor, King Mike Compton, Peggy
Rowell, Dan Nichols, and announcer Kay Armstrong.
