All rights reserved http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ******************************************************** More Servicemen From Celeste and Kingston Area The following list of seven service men added to a previously published ones of Celeste and Kingston men in military organizations will bring the total of career and recent inductees to forty-six. Of this number, fourteen are service career men. Excepting three of the total named all were Celeste School students. Names are: 1/Sgt. Vincent (Tomo) Ramirez, an infantryman with eighteen years service. Ramirez, recently with an El Paso base, is now in Viet Nam. Captain Bobby L. Craigo, with the Air Force for eleven years and stationed at Bergstrom AFB, Austin, for the past five years, is now serving with a Riverside, California base. His family, wife, and four children reside at Colton, California. Petty Office 1/C Thomas Giles, at Lakehurst, New Jersey, is a Navy man with sixteen years service. He is scheduled for a Mediterranean Sea duty in the capacity of helicopter mechanic. T/Sgt. Jimmy Don Mulkey, with the Air Force for fifteen and one-half years, is presently in transfer from Kelly AFB, San Antonio, to duty at Tachikawa AFB, Tokyo, Japan. Major Harry Wilkerson, with Air Force missile training, is at Whiteman AFB, Warrenburg, Missouri. Since 1952, Harry has been with the service. A-1 Kenneth Clinton, of England Air Force Base, Alexandria, Louisiana, is serving his fifteenth year. A recent oversea assignment was on Okinawa. A native of Celeste, Marine Corporal Frank (Francis) Walker on Marine recruiting duty in Dallas, is leaving for Viet Nam in May. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Don Mulkey and children of San Antonio spent the weekend with his mother, Mrs. Hessie Mulkey. (January 27, 1967, The Celeste Courier)
