Jay Stricklan wrote "Cap-ital Idea." Kathleen has gotten people throughout Hunt County involved in knitting caps for children who are undergoing cancer treatment. She is the mother of Steve Williams, Celeste graduate, and lives on the Celeste RR. Crystal Dooley became the bride of Josh Suggs in Lone Oak on Saturday, March 6, 2004. Josh Suggs is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Thomason of Celeste. W. P. Fudgen, "He Was a Man Who Loved Teaching," was written by his daughter, Mary Delores Fudgen Campbell. Professor Fudgen taught in Celeste before going to Greenville to complete his career. "A&M News Service Writers Capture Honors," as Mary Lou Hazal, Celeste graduate snags another honor. Mary Lou is "Best of Texas" and received her TPRA award at the banquet held February 28, 2004, at the Adams Mark Hotel In San Antonio. Besides names we have seen on television, those running with a Celeste connection and impact are Phillip Killgore and Don Anderson (Sheriff), Frank Patterson and Kenneth Thornton (County Commissioner). Phillip Martin, Celeste graduate, is grandpa. Chad and Katie Martin announced the birth of a nine pound son, Connor Paul Martin, on February 26, 2004. Grandparents are Phillip and Jean Martin of Greenville. Great- grandparents are Nora Faye Ross of Wolfe City and the late Ralph Ross. He was selected the most valuable player with an average of twenty points and fourteen rebounds per game. Celeste freshman, and Curtis' brother, Shane Gray, captured the newcomer of the year award. Holly Coker, Celeste, was coach of the year. Randahl Hickman and Dani Haralson made the first team. Jessica McKee was selected for the second team.
