Greenville, May, 1927
 
M. K, Harrell was salutatorian, Greenville HS, May 27, 1927
 
Man Shot Near Celeste
        M. R. Tucker, a tenant farmer on the Pearson farm, in the
Dulaney community out from Celeste, was brought to a hospital
here for treatment Monday evening with a bullet wound in the side of
the head.  Tim Pearson was arrested and placed in jail by Deputy
Sheriff George Thurman.
The men quarreled regarding the use of a team by Tucker, who was
working on the halves, it appears.
